Program setups want usually in C: / Setup programs. But not everyone installs new software on the Windows partition, but on a separate scale for it. This provides a better overview anyway. The default installation folder is based on a setting in the registry that you can easily modify. 
Sign it with administrator privileges and open the registry editor via Start -> programs -> Run. Enter “regedit” and click OK. Now click in the left navigation through the tree to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersion by. Then you draw their attention to the two right messages “ProgramFilesPath” and “ProgrammFilesDir”. Double clicks, you can change the default installation directories. Note: Not every program adheres to the guidelines. Sometimes choose setups own paths.
