Folder Access is a tool that any folders can be provided with a password. Only those who know the correct password can view the folder and change, delete or edit the files and subdirectories contained therein. To protect a folder only needs to use the context menu "Lock Folder" selected and then the desired password should be entered. To unlock a folder, just double-click the folder, and then entering the password. The password must consist of at least six and a maximum of 12 characters. The protection extends also to the DOS level, so that the directories are protected here and can not be viewed. The tool is for all reasonable working on a PC that is used by several people, but where to set up different user profiles is exaggerated or not possible.
Limitations of Folder Access
Folder Access 2.0 can provide up to four folders at once with a password.
