XnView Download: all-rounder among image viewers
The image viewer is reminiscent of Windows Explorer: A directory structure is navigated, photographs found in the folder and images are displayed as thumbnails. JPG, JPG2000, GIF, BMP, PNG, Targa, Multi-Page TIFF, MPEG, AVI, QuickTime, DXF, DWG, HPGL and some exotics are supported. Moreover, XnView supports meta-formats EXIF, XMP and IPTC along with geotagging so you are prepared for further work.
Besides the mere viewing images XnView converts selbige nor even by batch, manufactures of screenshots and supports the TWAIN interface for connecting scanners.
